With days becoming shorter and sunlight levels constantly lower than usual it is vital to ensure you have good levels of lighting throughout every room in your home. Good lighting makes every room look more appealing, whilst also giving a warm and cosy feel during evening viewings. Lighting is also vital when taking photographs for your property listing.

Garden Maintenance

It can be tempting to leave your gardening until the temperature gets a bit warmer. Be careful though, an over grown lawn or a messy garden can put off potential buyers. It’s also best to clear away unused garden furniture or toys and games left to gather dirt since the summer.

Keeping your home more personal! A property that looks like a show home does not encourage potential buyers to imagine living there. Consider adding personalised photo gifts, flowers or other art work.

Keep Shoes at the Door

You could have many potential buyers walking in and out of your house. Those carpets and floors need to be kept clean at all times to give the best impression!
