Meter Readings

2017-2018 Budget

The next service charge budget for the period 25th March 2017 – 24th March 2018 has been sent to all leaseholders today.

Walton&Allen’s Block Management Administrator has prepared the next budget due for 2017-2018 and this has been sent to the Directors for approval.

Fire Panel Test

Walton&Allen’s Roaming Caretaker has attended site and carried out the weekly fire panel test.

Weekly Fire Panel Tests

Please note that the Fire Panel will be now tested every Friday. The test will last no longer than approx. 10mins. It is a legislative requirement that this test is completed weekly and the test will not be carried out before 10:00am.

The above notice has been delivered to Residents.

Fire Safety Service Visit

Following our comment below on the 19th January 2017, Amptron Electrical Services are on site today to carry out their first Fire Safety Service visit. Walton&Allen’s Block Management Administrator and Roaming Caretaker have also attended site and been trained on how to carry out the weekly legislative test.

Fire Safety Service Visit

Amptron Electrical Services have been instructed to carry out the bi-annual checks to the fire safety equipment. They will be carrying out their first visit on Monday 23rd January 2017. Please note that the panel will be tested on this visit.

Communal Cleaning

Following our comment on 5th January, Walton&Allen’s Block Management Administrator has contacted the contracted cleaners and they will now also be including steam cleaning of the tiles in the foyer each month to keep the building maintained to a high standard.

Communal Cleaning

Following our comment on the 13th December 2016, City & Country are attended site today to carry out their first contracted visit, they will be attended on a fortnightly basis on a Thursday morning.

Salt/Grit within the Communal Areas

We would like to politely remind all residents that the responsibility for salting/gritting the communal areas is the responsibility of the residents. Please note; even if salt/grit has been provided by the management company, Walton&Allen or the management company take no responsibility for salting/gritting the communal areas.

Communal cleaning

The new cleaning contractors are not due to carry out their first clean until the new year on 5th January 2017, with this in mind Walton&Allen’s Roaming Caretaker will be attending site today to carry out litter pick of the site in the interim.

Drain Cleaning

Walton&Allen’s Block Management Administrator obtained a quote for the drains in the courtyard area to be cleaned. A second comparable quote will also be obtained.

Communal Lights

Walton&Allen’s Roaming Caretaker has attended site and replaced any lights required in the silver cylinder communal lights.

Communal Cleaning Tender

Quotes have been obtained for the communal cleaning and City & Country have been instructed to carry out the communal cleaning on a fortnightly basis.

We are currently awaiting a schedule from them.

New Management

Walton&Allen’s Property & Estate Director and Block Management Administrator have attended site and met with a representative from the previous management agent to carry out the handover of Cavendish Court.

New Management

We are pleased to announce that as of the 6th December 2016, Walton&Allen have been appointed as block managing agents for Cavendish Lodge. The handover is well underway and we shall be in contact in due course.
